Teams will be divided into three groups of three and one group of four.
If there are absents in the class that day, we’ll divide up into other groups depending on how many absences there are.
Each team will have a representative, playing the role of pieces.
These representatives will stand on the ‘go’ sign of board in the beginning of the game.
Each team will be given a bell.
I will give out each question and the remaining two or three people in each group will have to answer these questions.
Whoever rings the bell first will have the chance to answer the question.
Each group must wait until the host judges who rang the bell first. Until then, all groups must make sure not to say the answer.
If a group shouts out the answer, then that group’s “piece” will automatically have to move back a block.
If one group whispers to communicate with its group members and if another group over hears the answer and uses it, it is still counted as the other group’s (that overheard) point. So make sure you whisper quietly if you need to!
It is okay for one group member to ring the bell and the other group member, in the same team, to answer.
The host, I, will fairly judge who rings the bell first.
If, by any chance, groups ring the bells simultaneously, then one person from each group that rang the bell will come up and have a “hammer face off”.
The host will count to three, and then each group must try to grab the hammer (plastic) first hit the opponents on the head (lightly). After this process, he or she is allowed to say the answer. The other people in the hammer face off are not allowed to say their answers.
Players are not allowed to violently hurl the plastic hammer at the opponents face. If a player does smash another player, he or she will be penalized by moving the “piece” three blocks back. So don’t swing the hammer into someone’s face!
If the group is correct, its representative or “piece” will move a block forward.
If the group is incorrect, its representative or “piece” will move back a block.
So don’t hastily ring the bell!
Whoever goes the furthest will win the game and the prize!
If, by any chance, one team answers all twenty questions, that team will receive the special prize.
We will go through all twenty questions. These shouldn’t be hard to answer if you paid attention during the presentation. Therefore, to make it competitive, this game requires a lot of speed!
How to Win
The goal is to answer as many questions as possible to move your “piece” up further.
Whichever group goes the most blocks or goes the furthest from the ‘go’ sign wins.
The ultimate prize that one of the teams would most likely get will be next to the host.
Although it is highly unlikely to happen, if one team answers all twenty questions and reaches the ‘hooray’ sign (twenty blocks from the ‘go’ sign), then that team will receive a special prize.
This prize will be displayed at the ‘hooray’ sign, but covered so that no one can see what it actually is.

It’s a surprise! Both prizes, the normal and the special ones, will be revealed at the end of the game.
